If it wasn’t already terribly obvious that my blogging here has been dying out, I’m making it official. I’ve canceled my WoW account; I’m just no longer interested in playing the game.
I enjoyed the hell out of blogging, of participating in the Shaman community, and talking to everyone, reading comments, and others’ blogs.
I’ve played Warcraft for 7 years. Firelands was the final nail in the coffin for me. I have so little interest in the new 4.3 content; my raid is reformatting itself to a 10 man after having a lot of people just retire from the game entirely. I could have kept raiding in that 10 man had I wanted to, but my interest in the game just isn’t there. I can’t put my finger entirely on why I’m so burned out and done, why it happened so fast over the past year. I started Cataclysm completely engaged, excited, an active participant, and it just fell off a cliff, and nothing in the Mists of Pandaria announcements tickled any interest to stick around.
I would like to thank everyone who has read my blog, posted comments, and made me feel like something I did on the internet mattered at least a little. I had a great time. I actually miss the blogging part; I just don’t care enough about the game itself to write about it.
;_;

Sorry to hear that you’re closing up shop, but I can certainly understand the reason. It was wonderful having your voice in the blogging community and I wish you the best wherever life takes you.
I’m gonna miss you. I loved your blog.
Not entirely unexpected but still sad.
You sure you don’t want to look at these shiny new trinkets? They have stats on them. And procs! You don’t have to play to fiddle with numbers…
Goodbye, and see you in the next time sinking online game.
I love your blog, good luck in anything you will do next!
Just wanna thank you for this awsome blog, I have enjoyed reading it
Tho I love my resto shamie, it’s time for me to move on… SWTOR may be the answer.
I think wow has lost it’s old magic
Take care
Mally

hope il see u in star wars
Thank you for all of the work you have put into this community. This has been an invaluable resource for me and I always enjoy the spin you put into your posts, they are always entertaining and informative. I hope that you find that same sense of enjoyment that WoW brought for all these years. If you do, I hope you let us know so. Many of us are healers wherever we go, so I hope our interests will cross again.
I’ve really enjoyed your posts, good luck and have fun wherever new interests may take you!
I’ve quit wow myself 10 month ago, but I still read much of what you write in your blog. Really gonno miss it. pls let us know if you start another blog. Good luck!!!
Thanks for great blog, will miss the good read.
You’ll certainly be missed; I’ve enjoyed your blog for a quite a while.
Take care.
Thanks you Jadi for all your tips and postings. They helped me so much at the start of Cata.
And like you, I hit a wall about a month ago, and I just cannot nail what it is, but the game no longer strikes me.
I played 4.3 for a day, and it felt more like a chore than something I wanted to do more and more.
Never felt this way, and I have only been playing since 2003. I just canceled mine, and have been having more fun playing solo RPG games like Skyrim and Fallout.
Who knows, I might come back to WoW again, but I really can’t say I know when that will be.
Your posts made a big difference to my game play though.
Thanks and may we both find our destinies at the end of the “Fireland”.
*sad face*
/hugs
take care!
I really enjoyed reading your blog, I’m sorry to see you go.
Good luck with all the things you do next.
I was leveling my combac medic (Trooper class) when I saw this on the skill tree.
Trauma Probe – Deploys a trauma probe with 10 charges that lasts 5 minutes. When the target is damaged, Trauma Probe loses 1 charge and heals the target for x. This effect cannot occur more than once every 3 seconds. Only one trauma probe can be deployed at a time.
So as you can see, you belong in The Old Republic…
Loved your blog! Good luck with whatever you do!
Enjoyed reading your blog for sometime now, but haven’t checked in awhile, and I am sorry to hear you’re hanging it up. I feel much like you as a player from the beginning of WOW, I think I’ve had enough as well. My sub expires in January and for the first time in a very long time, I will not renew.
Good Luck for your future endeavors.
